How to Go to Perpetual Pain
You are headed to the place of continual agony and suffering if you commit sins such as the following and do not turn from them:
- Desire what belongs to another person.
- Say things about other people that are not true.
- Take things that do not belong to you.
- Desire to have a person who is not your spouse.
- Have thoughts of hate or harm toward another person.
- Dishonor your parents.
- Dishonor things that are associated with God.
- Have more interest and desire for something God has created than you have for Him.
- Consider yourself, another person, some thing, or some cause as more important than God.
"and, although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them." Romans 1:32
"... For the outcome of those things is death." Romans 6:21
Below are some things that are on the path to the lake of fire:
- Entrust your future on the false hope that having religious feelings or thoughts, participating in religious activities, or being a 'good' church member will save you.
- Continue to think that sin is not very bad.
- Continue to imagine God doesn't consider you as being wicked.
- Persist in considering yourself as good enough to escape eternal punishment.
- Keep living for yourself and your personal desires instead of submitting to God and following His instructions (His Word - the Bible).
- Keep trying to go to heaven by your own work or worth.
- Persist in deceiving yourself that God would not punish a person for ever.
- Hold to the wrong conclusion that you are too bad for God to forgive your sins.
- Persist in pretending there is no God.
- Depend on your untrue speculation that there is no life after death.
When you die, if the following conditions are accurate descriptions of you, your destination of hell will be eternally sealed:
- You have kept putting-off your need to seek God.
- You have persisted in refusing the provision God has given for your sins to be forgiven.
- You have refused or neglected to run to Jesus for safety from everlasting punishment.
"Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance? But because of your stubbornness and unrepentant heart you are storing up wrath for yourself in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, who will render to every man according to his deeds: to those who by perseverance in doing good seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life; but to those who are selfishly ambitious and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, wrath and indignation. There will be tribulation and distress for every soul of man who does evil ..." Romans 2:4-9
It is important that you leave the path to perpetual pain. THEREFORE, in order to be delivered from hell, you must have your sins forgiven and be allowed into God's heaven. Only Jesus can do this for you. Believe in Him!
"And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him." Hebrews 11:6
The following from God's Word tells what will happen when you turn to Jesus for salvation:
"But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit, resulting in sanctification, and the outcome, eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:22-23
Don't continue on your way to eternal pain.
Turn from your rebellion against God and believe in Jesus for salvation.
