You will miss the peace given by God if you reject Him and the provision He has given for peace. You will miss perfect peace if you continue to think you do not need to be saved, continue to not live life according to God's instructions, continue to think you do not need God, continue to think you are a good person, continue to think you are wiser than God and do not obey His words. Jesus said that many people will not find the life given by God. They will instead continue on the way that leads to destruction. So, if you want to miss the blessing from God for eternal life, continue as you are going - keep living like most people, keep following the majority, continue going along with what is popular, keep living life according to your will, ways, and wants. If you want to miss perfect peace, do not seek to find the way to eternal life. On the other hand, if you do not want to miss the wonderful blessings of God for eternity, seek to find eternal life. It can only be found in Jesus Christ. "Enter by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide, and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter by it. For the gate is small, and the way is narrow that leads to life, and few are those who find it." Matthew 7:13-14 God is holy - He is perfect in all of His traits and actions. He has no weakness or lack in any aspect of His being. He has an infinite amount of power. His wisdom and knowledge is unlimited. He is always completely just. His love is perfect. "... Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord of hosts, The whole earth is full of His glory." Isaiah 6:3 "The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; A God of faithfulness and without injustice, Righteous and upright is He." Deuteronomy 32:4 As a creation, each of us has offended the holy God. We all have disobeyed His perfect and protective instructions. Our just payment for disobedience (sin) against the perfect and infinite God is death. God is always just, so He will punish all sin. Therefore, if one's debt for sin is not paid, that person will die physically (separation of the body from the spirit) and spiritually (separation from God forever). In conclusion, the problem is that every person has sinned, the payment for sin is death, and the debt for all sin must be paid in full. Jesus has paid the price for sin. By not trusting in Him and His work of salvation you will miss everlasting peace. Don't miss peace with God. Turn from you sin and believe in Jesus as the only and complete payment to appease God's wrath against you because of sin. "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus" Romans 3:23-24 "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23 "for the demonstration, I say, of His righteousness at the present time, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus."
